TANCET Guidance, rules and regulations: Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is a competitive test conducted by the Anna University. This test is for those students who wish to pursue their career in the fields such as MBA/ MCA, M.E., M. Tech, M. Arch, etc. This examination is administered by the university itself. There are certain eligibilities that every student must fulfill to appear for TANCET. Students must have 10+2 and 10+2+3 education background from a recognized institute of the country. The exam patter is simple for TANCET. There are 100 multiple choice questions. The duration of the examination is 2 hours. The examination has 5 different sections which carry 20 questions each. TANCET also carries negative marking for every wrong answer.
