These students by appearing for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test will be eligible to study at Anna University If they clear the test. TANCET 2017 Negative Marking scheme
It was founded in the year 1978 and has been offering various educational courses ever since. Many graduate and post graduate level institutes in the state are affiliated to Anna University. The university is recognized by University Grants commission (UGC), National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and Distance Education Bureau (DEB). To appear for TANCET, students must have completed their education with 10+2 education system or 10+2+3 education system to study graduate or post graduate program from Anna University.
TANCET examination consists of 5 sections which are Business situation analysis, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Reading Comprehension and Data Sufficiency. All these sections carry equal value with 20 questions each in this 100 question examination. The duration of the examination is 2 hours.
