About TANCET 2019
TANCET last year/ previous year cut off marks: TANCET is a yearly competitive examination conducted by the Anna University. The university was founded in the year 1978 and has been offering various graduate and under-graduate programs ever since. TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test which is for giving admissions to various institutes that are affiliated to Anna University. Many graduate and post graduate level examination is affiliated to Anna University and offer various programs for the students. The student who wish to pursue a career in MBA/ MCA, M.E., M. Tech, M. Arch and so on, appear for the examination. There are eligibility criteria for those who wish to appear for TANCET. The students who appear must have 10+2 or 10+2+3 educational background from a recognized institute for graduate and post graduate program. The test carries 100 questions with 20 questions in each section. These questions are multiple choice type questions which cover 5 sections in the examination. The duration of the examination is 2 hours. The examination also carrier negative marking for the answer that are wrong. This makes the test even more complicated.
